Our team focuses on the primary care functions such as feeding, diapering, learning to crawl and walk (tummy time), play and sing.

We implement a wide-ranging curriculum hitting all 6 major learning categories (circle time, arts and crafts, manipulatives, music and movement, story time, gross motor). All age groups start with a circle time which begins each morning and serves to set a warm social environment. This activity consists of saying good morning to their teachers and peers, singing their ABC’s and counting and more. We then move on to arts and crafts where the children are free to explore their creativity with drawing, coloring or painting objects or subjects we are currently focusing on for that week. Next is manipulatives, such as, puzzles and blocks, play-dough and putty which helps develop fine motor skills.

Next in our curriculum is music and movement. The children will sing and dance along with their teachers or even play an instrument allowing them to express themselves through movement. We then go to the next item in our curriculum which is story time. Story time will also include the use of either flannel boards that children can move and manipulate or puppets that accompany the story.

Lastly, we then move on to gross motor. Children will move their entire bodies with activities like bear crawling, leaping like a frog, etc. All activities are broken up with snacks/lunch and nap time. As your child ages and grows the activities will grow with them.
